too much fuel..
what would be some causes of having too much fuel being dumpled into the engine. if youve read my previous post, im having trouble getting my car to run, it will start with my foot on the gas, but dies when it tries to idle. anyways there are some things ive noticed and it leads me to believe the motors getting too much fuel....
fouled plugs
wet plugs
fairly strong gas smell after it has run for 10 seconds
fouled o2
misty type smoke **** coming out of the cylinders when plugs are removed, also out of exaust manifold
some things ive checked already-
there is spark, dizzy is in good condition, new plugs and wires
injectors are fine (swapped with good ones)
map sensor is fine (swapped with good one)
TPS is on a gsr throttle body (z6 manifold) and the housing is cracked (like it came off a jdm motor), cant test it yet tho.
timing is fine (cam n crank), ignition timing idunno but i cant check it cause the car wont idle.
fPR seems ok, i switched it with a good one and it does the same thing.
car has d15b7 bottom/z6 head/z6 dizzy/p28 converted to obd1. obd0 injectors with resistor box.
any ideas, do my assumptions sound correct about there being too much fuel?

i had the same issue you're describing actually, going from pre-obd to obd1. apparently when i was repinning my obd1 dizzy plug, i mixed up the blu/yel grn/yel wires AGAIN. switched em, good to go. it's worth a shot.
