Default Ecu pin wont stay in

Im doing an mpfi swap and I may have damage one of the plugs when I was depining it. now the pin will not click and stay in. It is loose and will come out when pulled. What is a good way to keep the pin in?

thanks

The pins have a little tab of metal that sticks out and holds it into the plug. If the tab snapped off, you need a new pin. If it is just bent down, you may be able to pry it back up so that it will seat in the plug. You might be able to source pins from vendor, but the pinning pliers are very expensive.

Oh, also check that the pin is the right side up in the connector hole. If it's turned upside down, the tab won't have anything to grab in the connector.

you were right I just needed to pry up the little tabs on the top because they had flattened. After I did that they clicked into place. Thanks!
