Default Brake question

I have a 1992 Honda Accord DX coupe. My rear brakes are scrubbing and I know I need to replace them and would like to know what is the best brand to buy? I use my Honda Accord for daily commute but I would like something that is a bang for my buck.

I would like to know also as well as replacing my brakes, I want to replace my rotors and drums and brake calipers.

Centric is a quality brand. From Rockauto you can purchase just about everything for ~$200 shipped. No need to purchase rebuilt calipers, better/cheaper to rebuild them yourself. Rebuilt calipers may not always be as good as the ones you rebuild yourself.

You can't really go wrong with autozone gold brake pads. They give you free replacements for the entire life as long as the pads wear evenly.

My personal preference is Akebono. A mechanic friend recommended them and I have never been disappointed.

I would like to upgrade my brakes for my 1992 Honda Accord LX Coupe to disk brakes front and rear. Any suggestions on brands. Is this even available for my car?

Hey fellow Users thanks for all the help. I finally replaced my drums brakes after 6 hours of labors. I didn't have the tools needed for the job must still got the job done. One issue I did have with my drum brakes was that one of my wheel cylinders went bad so thankfully I bought those thanks to a local mechanic. I didn't get drums brake from RockAuto as they were trying to charge $40 for delivery which was the amount of total checkout so I went to Advance and purchase them with a discount code a friend gave to me at my job. I use Weaver for my drums brakes and fitted perfectly. Hardware kit was essential due to my drums hardware were ancient along with drums. Here are of some pictures.
