87 Honda Civic Wagon Carb Stalls while driving
I've read several posts about this and have yet to determine the cause.
Here's what I know after trying to solve the problem for a few months.
87 honda civic wagon carb automatic
1. Stalls after driving around 10 minutes
2. Stalling seems to occur after a rain or in wet/humid conditions
3. Tach quickly goes to 0 but sometimes seems to catch again and continue running. Engine just cuts without sputtering...no bucking.
4. Very hard to start after stalling but always does after about 3-5 minutes
5. On good weather days I really haven't had an issue and have driven 30 miles without any stalling
Here is what I have done so far:
new cap / rotor, spark plugs, spark wires, air filter, ignition switch
sprayed with a water bottle every possible electrical connection under the hood while engine was idling. Didn't yield any conclusions
I have a service manual and have replaced the above parts myself but am not particularly knowledgeable about car repairs. Trying to do as much as I can myself before paying someone. I enjoy learning.
What should I check next?
thanks.

I checked the ignition coil and it appears to be in good shape with no visible cracks. I also checked the resistance and continuity and it appeared to be in working order.
