Hello there, I have a 1992 Honda Accord, 3 months ago i heard a knocking noise coming from my passenger side, a few weeks ago my rotar snapped and i got it replaced by a mechanic and this solved the issue until about 2 weeks ago it started again and now i am hearing the same noise CONSTANTLY...

It happens when i accelerate and am driving, gets louder with slower speed and fades as i go faster. When i brake, it silences. Once in a while, i will hear a single "pop" sound when i brake. Is this my rotar again? or is there other possibilities?

i am on a tight budget and im not very smart when it comes to cars unless its the basics. PLEASE HELP!!! any advice will be greatly considered.

 

what did the mechanic say when you took it back to him?

 

Brake rotors don't snap. I would love to see this broken rotor.

 

sounds like he drove the back of the pads into the rotors till they ate through the vanes lmfao

 

Brake calliper loose? Take off the wheel and put pressure on all the parts you see

 

if he paid someone to do work and the problem returns that fast the first place to go is the person that was paid. specially since the op admits being car clueless.
