i used old brake rotors. cut the flange off, each one is 1/4". I have 2 on each of my wheels and have had 0 issues, 0 loose lug nuts, no warping. i have been running them for over a year. i also coated them in anti-seize. in my opinion they are just as good as the ones you buy from a store, they just don't have "wheel spacer" on the package.......

Back on topic, OP, how big of spacers do you need? 3-5mm and you still keep the stock studs without issues. Any bigger and you will either to replace them for TL studs, or go with extended studs. ( you may need open end lug nuts if you go this route. Or you buy spacers with studs already built in.
your call. First find out big of spacers you need.
maybe you just stick to your detailing cars. 3 years ago you didn't know how to buff a car, but now your a master detailer. you must have took the online course for that huh?? ghetto detailer of the year award 3 years and runnin, runnin!! now your the wheel spacer police!!
Angle grinding a brake disc will give you a serviceable spacer, and is cheaper than buying one. Buying a spacer will give you a serviceable spacer, and is easier than making one. Neither option will destroy bearings. And everyone is going to have different opinions on this method.
they work perfectly fine for me. they all weigh within 1 gram of each other. i had them bolted to the wheels when i got them balanced. they don't rust. haven't lost a pound of torque on any lug since i installed them. i don't get any wheel wobble in excess of highway speeds or at the track. my car drives straight. i saved $120. so my "ghettoest" rotor flange's are doing their job of being wheel spacers for me. what more can a wheel spacer do that these cant?
yea, yea, yea. I highly doubt that.

And here come the personal attacks. It's okay.
Actually, I never asked for that title it was put there by an admin. I don't even like it.
And yes, this literally is the ghettoest thing I've ever seen posted here. I've been a member since 03/04. Never heard of "serviceable" spacer either. I thought they were just chunks of aluminum with holes drilled in them. but then again, what the hell do i know?
like i said. they work for me. those work for you. i don't get any vibrations, so i'm happy with my ghetto spacers! there is really no difference...

I thought i needed them because i was told if i got anything bigger than 15x7 it wouldnt fit on my car . and this was after i bought wheels . so i was told to get spacers and roll my fenders for me to put the 15x8.5 on .
I am honestly not sure what size i need . i was told i would need them and my fenders rolled if i wanted them to fit on my car . i just don't know what size spacers i need . so im looking for some tips or info on what to go with . i just want to be able to put these wheels on without having to send them back or anything .

A good way to figure out how big you need (if there is clearance issues is to go buy some washers that are big enough to fit over the studs. Put as many washers as it takes to fix the clearance issue. Measure the washers, and that's how big of spacers you need.
Have you actually put the wheels on the car? What's the offset of the wheels?

I'll never understand why you guys put wheels like that on these cars.
I doubt you'll need spacers, but you are going to roll and possibly pull the fender/quarter panels. That is if you want any sort of drop and not be "mexi flush"
Also will likely need camber kits front/rear.

Your main clearance issue is the rear camber arms, and +17 offset should clear that no problem.. So you shouldn't need spacers, as previously stated.
okay , so no spacers . understood . so will i for sure need camber kits? fenders being rolled wont be a problem . can you tell me or do you know if my wheels will for sure fit on my car ? i get everything else . but like i said . 14s are on there now . bumping up to 15s . i was told anything over 15x7 won't fit on my car .
Some research would show people run way wider then 7". I currently have 15x8 +35 offset wheels, and I had to grind down my camber arms a little because of my offset. I also had to roll.
You will most likely need a rear camber kit.. Or you can do the washer trick.. Add washers and bigger bolts. Look it up.
The wheels will fit, your Fenders will need to be rolled. And you might look mexiflush depending on how low you are.

At +17 the car is going to be one a few things, Mexi flush and look like ******* ***, hella flush and looking like ******* ***. Your call.
if you want that hellaflushbullshit you need camber kits.
adding washers will only push the wheels out, making the situation worse, or AKA mexi flush
