95 civic speedometer not working

Default 95 civic speedometer not working

I changed the vss with a brand new one and my speedometer still won't work all the plugs are attatched in the gauge cluster I even swapped a friends of mine with mine to see if maybe it was just the gauge cluster and it still won't work I'm lost is there a fuse by chance that needs to be replaced?

Is your car VTEC? If so is the VTEC working? Also pull the sensor out and look at the speedo gear on the diff to make sure its intacted. I fought this problem in my 94 coupe, but just stopped caring because my VTEC is working and I replaced EVERYTHING.

How do I pull the speedo gear out? And it's not a vtech

You can see it with a flash light through the hole were the sensor goes. Jack up the car( use jack stands) and put it in gear and have a friend spine the drive tire and watch the gear rotate. The only way is to disassemble the trans and separate it from the diff

Ok will go out and try it now also not sure if you can help or not my rear wells don't sit normal they sit bowed even on flat ground which is causing tires to wear badly

If your car is lowered you need a camber kit to adjust for the negative camber that is created when lowering your vehicle. If you car is now lowered either rear bushings are destroyed or something is bent
