Fuel Pressure Problem
1992 CX Hatch OBD1 D15B8.
Fuel pump has to prime every time before turning over. Loses pressure instantly after turning off the car. New fuel pump not even 3 weeks old. After 2 consecutive primes can smell fuel from inside the cabin. I do have a gas leak in the rubber hose before the tank right after the filler neck. Will that cause loss of pressure in the fuel lines? Just replaced the ecu in it because of moisture damage and I was having problems with the pump not priming while it was wet outside. I now am working on fixing a firing issue to get it running again. Main relay has been swapped with a known working relay.

Stickies exist for a reason.

The rules thread is not optional reading. You are failing to give us basic, required information. Also, the FAQ sticky has exactly the tests you should be doing. Hint: Fuel Pressure Regulator.

I have looked through the FAQ Sticky, the only thing I found on fuel pressure was how to measure it. Could not find anything on why I may be losing pressure after I have turned off the vehicle.
Following the procedure for testing fuel pressure would answer that question for you. You have a leak somewhere, and those procedures will help you pinpoint where the leak is.
