1999 Accord overheating/loosing water/stalling at driving speeds
I'll list 3 things that my accord is doing (1 and 2 might be related).
1) Car sometimes (every month or two) won't start on very wet/humid days. I know by now to wait for a day and then it will start. It sometimes will barely start and run rough for a time before leveling off and running normally. It usually smells flooded when it does this. When it first starts and especially when it runs rough it makes a clanging type noise where he exhaust exits the motor. Once it levels off and runs fine the noise stops or almost stops.
2) Car stalls every so often (very rarely) when at driving speed. It looses power and then stutters and then regains full power and returns to normal.
3) Car looses between 16 and 32 ounces of water daily (I drive 60 mile round trip). It looses more when I run the AC. It's loosing it into the overflow reservoir. It doesn't have any leaks.
Thanks for any replies.

Head Gasket? Have you noticed any white smoke coming out of your tailpipe? Check your spark plugs - what do the ends look like?
Scuba Camper, my mechanic also thinks it's a head gasket, I posted on here to get a "second opinion" I do notice white smoke when I first start the engine. Do you think the stalling/hard to start could be water getting into the cylinders or could it be something else causing the stalling?
Thanks, Charlie
Thanks, Charlie
Those symptoms sound pretty typical of a blown head gasket - which when blown, sometimes allows coolant into the combustion chamber, thereby causing performance issues as well as white smoke (coolant burning).

Disconnect the ecu fuse in the engine bay fuse box assembly to disable spark and fuel.
Remove all spark plugs. Get a compression tester for about $20 and without using any adapters, hand thread it into a spark plug til it's hand tight. Turn the engine over until the gauge stops going up(it's useful to have a helper watching the gauge). Do this for each cylinder. The results for each cylinder should all roughly be around the same.
If the 4th and/or 3rd cylinders have lower compression, it's likely your head is warped.
