Tapping noise when in 1st-3rd gears

Tapping noise when in 1st-3rd gears
I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX coupe, manual tranny, approx 220,000 miles
A tapping noise from the engine started last week. I only hear it while the vehicle is moving in gears 1-3. I did have an oil change done on Friday & that didnt solve the issue. About 2 months ago I started having power steering issues. Found my fluid container empty & all my fluid was on the drivers side floorboard. Took the belt off awaiting a friends help for repairs.
