Noise when Shifting Gears
Ok little about my car it is 2007 Honda accord Se manual with 33k miles i just bought that car, couple days ago i replace the oil and put in Ams-oil 0W-20 full Synthetic with Mobile 1 EP oil filter. I had the same problem before the oil change when shifting gears i heard gears going in and thats it and i'm not talking about grinding just the sound of gears going in , after the oil change it went away for 2 days and came back . I did buy Ams-oil MTF fluid do you guys think that i should change my MTF fluid would that help to eliminate that noise of gears going in

Re: Noise when Shifting Gears
it is hard to explain i know it sounds stupid but i will try to explain better, when i shift 1,2,3 it sound like reverse but a lot less noise and revers is the only gear not synchromesh but it sounds the same on 1,2,3 with a lot less noise

Re: Noise when Shifting Gears
now that i think about it it sounds more audiable CLANK noise when gears engaging, but not as loud as reverse where it's normal but 1,2,3 should i hear that CLANK noise in lower speeds i didn't know how to describe it sorry, so it won't be whining more like a Clank noise only when engaging gears not loud i, like i said after an oil change it was quite for 2 days and now it is the same.Maybe and MTF fluid change will help to eliminate that clank shifting noise ???????, Here is my problem solved http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho....php?p=4756637 i think but still i will change my MTF fluid
