Wasssup peeps! I need your help!! this guy is selling his shell for a really good price and everything looks good but the problem is on the title it does not say his name on and it still on The first owner's name .. he told me that the guy that he got it from just gave it to him as a gift. Is there a way i could find out if this is stolen or not? I'ts a little fishy to me...

I purchased a Carfax subscription a while ago, I will look it up for you when my mom comes home because I don't remember the login.

 

dont buy it unless the persons name who is on the title knows your buying it then get a bill of sale from the person on the title dont trust the guy selling it in somebody elses name thats just stupid

thats not tru........it may not be stolen........i've bought and sold cars before and I had the previous owner sign the title and the bill of sale but I kept the new owners info empty. Its just a way to avoid having to transfer the title from previous owners name to yours then to the new owner. Alot of mechanics that buy and sell cars do the same thing. Also what are the chances that you steal a car and the title is in the Glove Box? Anyone that leaves the title in the car deserves to get their **** stolen for being an ***
