only starts when hitting new starter
I been wondering whats wrong with my car the only way to get to start is by hitting the starter and the starter is new and the 3rd one from the original in less than 6 months.
Denso oem starters are built to last. The only thing I've ever had to do is buy new starter contacts from "larry b's starter contacts" for only $20, install em and after 30 minutes I was good to go again.
It is, however, remotedly possible that when you tap the starter you shake the battery terminals enough to allow it to make contact so check your battery terminals to see if you see any corrosion.

ez thing to diagnose. could be starter relay. to check that, hook up a dvom at the ground part of the starter, that little butt connector. If your getting 12v when the person turns the key at that terminal and still wont start then there is a problem with the starter. If anything is less than 12v then you should look at ground cables, starter relay etc. If you jump the starter and works every time then is a dead give away that it isnt the starter/starter solenoid ..
