my 2005 civic (ES1) gives a rattling noise when going over rough road. I have got the front suspension checked and the cartridges were fine. the mechanic was suggesting electrical power steering could be an issue. Anyone got any thoughts of what could be the issue?

 

Electric power steering? Unless your local market has that as a standard feature, all North American ES1's do not. Have you checked your compliance bushings? (Front lower control arm)

 

Not sure Mate. Got the hanger bushes changed. Mine is a Japanese import so it has got electric power steering. Will check out what u just suggested. Thanks.
