Ls K20 Swap Cost By a Shop?!
Hey guys I have a question that has probably even answered more than once but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for. But for the car, I plan on buying an Integra LS soon before I ship for the Marine Corps, and either while I'm on leave or after my service and I'm competely done I plan on K20 swapping it, BUT I have neither the tools nor the knowledge of how to do so. SO if I were to have somebody swap a K20 for me, and do all the work, how much would it cost TOTAL including labor, misc. parts, and the engine and tranny combined. Thanks in advance and give me any tips you can!
It's going to be a figure that will make your heart sink, that's for sure. Then you'll start researching what it takes to do a K swap. Then the lightbulb will go off, *ding!*........and you'll ask yourself: If every other Honda fanatic can do this, why can't I? Then after much debating with yourself, you'll start slowly assembling all the pieces together to do the swap! DIY. You'll be so much richer for the experience when following through with your dream. Not to mention, you won't be afraid to fix anything that goes wrong with it in the future. Best of luck on either path you take!
