Ef civic si sway bar sizes question
Whats up ht, i have a 90 civic si and i am shopping for some upgraded sway bars. I have been looking at the Suspension Techniques set, but the front bar is the same size as the rear (both 22mm) i know that same sizes for the front and rear is not desirable, has anybody had any experience with this kit, i already have upgraded to Tein coilovers and upgraded all bushings to polyuerethane from Energy. Sorta of noob when it comes to suspension, any input would be appreciated
EF and DA swaybar sizes are listed in the faq.

in my experience, the 22 solid front ST bar is just way too much. i'm sure youll notice a difference in less body roll if thats what youre after, but its not overall beneficial for better handling in most ppls experience. at least if you care about tuning your suspension to go fast.
typically you want to tune out the understeer and going with a smaller front bar and larger rear bar will get you there. but its all about taste and what you do with your car. fwiw, for my crx with stock springs, i use upgrade the fronts with a 19mm sedan bar because i want the less roll and not looking to completely tune out the oversteer. maybe if i had stiffer springs i wouldnt need it or want it.
use any of the EF and DA swaybars up front to get a feel for what you want, theyre cheap. except the HF front is kinda rare, just from not so many around. might as well just not use anything at that point, or put a lot of slack in the endlink to lessen the effect of the sway bar.
the rear youll probably want something like a ST 22mm. its common, its heavy but it mostly works.

Thanks tyson for the input, i have already swapped in a b20 in my hatch, i am now looking to upgrade the handling and brakes from the tiny stock ones, my ef right now is my daily driver although i hit up canyons all the time on the weekends and plan to go to a few track events this year.
I think i would start out with either the sedan or da front bar and go ahead and get the st 22mm bar for the rear and see how i feel the car and go from there
Would you recommend this set up?

Swaybars "tune" your handling--they don't completely transform it.
With that said though, the EF chassis is quick to snap if you don't have things sorted out. A 22mm rear sway can bite you in the ***--especially if you're being an idiot on public roads (aka "canyons").
Springs and shocks should be addressed first, then you can tune to your liking with swaybars.
