Glad to hear you can get the car back.

I didn't read thru all the pages in the last thread. How did you resolve the problem? Did you use a lawyer?

Will post the details when the R is safe again in my driveway and i have the papers in my hand that say i can have this car in the states no questions asked.
Until then all it was, was a phone call with a promise from the head of hfc
to restore the car to me tomorrow am.
How did i win? All of the support that you fellow ITR owners showed!!
Thats how. This would never have happened if it wasnt for you!

what did we do?
only one person admitted to calling. And if I was yonik, I wouldn't have given it back due to annoying HT members.

Read the other thread. By annoying I meant us calling and bitching at yonik for repoing the car when we are not involved in the situation at all.

Dave-ROR = hater
Where do you get that? I'm happy for him that he got his car back, he was making payments after all. I'd be pissed in his case as well. However, from a *BUSINESS* point of view, I can't fault HCFI for what they did.

From a business point of view? What are you getting payed to play devils advocate? A business point of view would be best served by retaining the customer at all costs considering the bad press this could cause and the owners willingness to repay his debt. They were thinking too short sightedly, but with some vigerous picketing their long term goals of customer service and hence the repeated return of were threatened.

Coming from a 2 time business owner.
We also don't know both sides of the story, unless you've been in contact with HCFI. This is all pointless now, but if he informed HCFI after he moved then he did violate the contract. Whether or not that part of the contract is BS or not is a matter of opinion and useless in this discussion. Also, as others have stated, a large number (at the very least) of insurance companies have the same policy (30 days out of country before insurance is canceled) and it would be idiotic of HCFI to not repossess the car then.

You're just pissed because you got owned regarding honda owning HCFI hehe
