Default GLOWSHIFT gauge review? Post up your experience!

Im about to invest in some gauges. This is going in an all motor built b series EG hatch. I'm really looking at Glowshift gauges, (Widebandm oil pressure, and water temp). I had them in a 3000GT VR-4 I had years ago and from memory they worked well. Mainly want them for their capability to tint when they arent in use. I REALLY like that feature. I believe theyre called like the 7 color LED tinted gauges?

Whats eveyones opinions on them?

They are not even on my radar = JUNK!!! (definitely in all capitals)

Definitely save your pennies for something better. To counter some of this bashing, I will say their quality has improved over the years. They have been around for quite some time and changed the design a few years ago. The diesel guys love them, but then again they are the new ricers.

There is a reason people call them GlowShit.

Meh, I had Glowshift wideband and boost gauges while I had the 15G on my old Y7, never had a problem with them

I had the fuel pressure gauge a while back because everyone else wanted $100+ for an electric FP gauge and the Glowshift one was like $50. It worked ok, but I wasn't impressed. The needle was pretty thick so it was hard to get a precise reading, but I had a mechanical gauge on the FPR and the GS gauge was within 5 psi of it.

Really for my purposes it was fine, but if you have the cash there are better options.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I may just get AEM and then smoke the lenses to give them the tinted effect. Thats really the main reason for wanting Glowshift
