RPM gauge issue

Default RPM gauge issue

Im not sure if the problem is the gauge itself when ever im runing slow usually on 1st and 2nd gear the needle kick to 3 to 4k rpm and im hearing clicking or cranking sound and i cant seems to locate it. When ever this happen im felt like something is going to break. By the day green light on dashboard is in and out when ever im running slow. Im not sure if its the ICM issue or something else. Pls help me out.

Open the distributor and inspect the internals and the blue rpm wire. Post pictures.

Here is the inside of the distibutor. I notice a slight cut on the wire im not sure if that something to do with this issue. <br/>
