Hey what's up guys, new to forum and didnt really see a home anywhere for this year Accord lol. Anyways, recently I totaled the front end of my 04 Accord and stumbled upon a "running" '88 for $750 o.b.o and but they said the fuel pump is shorting out. I texted them and talked for a bit and all they could tell me was that when they drive it as soon as the electric fans kick on the pump starts to stutter and short..Basically I'm just wondering if anyone has dealt with this and if it would be worth getting for a new daily driver? I talked them down to $650 if it's nothing major but any help would be appreciated. Idk if you can post URLs here to craigslist and the like but let me know and I can send it to you to look at the car

 

I don't know a whole lot about these Hondas for I have just started having problems with mine, but it sounds to me like...
It may be an issue within the electrical box with maybe something wrong with the relay for the cooling fans or the wires coming from that relay maybe crossing with the pump...
Like I said though, I'm not anywhere close to knowing a lot about these accords.
