Whenever I try to initiate lean burn for anytime longer than a few seconds the check engine light comes on and the car gets out of lean burn. Should I just replace the injectors or is there something else I need to do?

 

You might want to pull the CEL codes. They should be stored now that the CEL has been triggered multiple times.

 

By "might want to", he means you need to. Drive until the CEL comes on, pull over, and jump the service connector without turning off the car. The CEL will start blinking codes. If you aren't 100% sure what you're looking at, after jumping the service connector, use your phone to make a video of it and post it here so we can help you.

 

Ok, I've got the dash disassembled and have the front subframe out of it now. So, I'll have to do that once I get the other stuff fixed.

 

most likely your O2 sensor. Dont get sticker shocked when you see how much a VX sensor costs ($200-400)
