I recently acquired a 94 Accord with what I believe to be a code 17. ( check engine stays on, then blinks 7 times real fast, and repeats). After researching I find that 17 is a speed sensor. Would this also cause the car to not shift gears? It seems to be fine when you first start and go, give it about 10 minutes of driving and it doesn't shift.
