Default B18C+CTR pistons+Toda B's---Valve Clearance Issues??

For those of you with this set-up, can you enlighten me on what to do and what not to do, as this is the set-up i am building. I just wanna be sure that i wont have valve clearance problems. Thanks for your help.

BEST thing to do is CLAY your motor for clearances. What head gasket are you planning on running as this affects clearance as well.

When claying your motor, set your cam gears to the maximum you think you will advance/retard them.

On a side note - I know of quite a few people who have run this setup without clearance issues. Since you obviously will be taking the engine apart, has any material been removed from the head or the block? Need a little more info to give you a better idea.

Just another example, and 1 piece headgasket on that setup would yield ~ 12.4:1, while the OEM 3 piece would yield closer to ~12:1.

you will have no issues if the either the motor or the head have not been milled much. use a stock headgasket and save youself some issues that may occur if you dont want to clay the motor

B16A Head w/ no shaving
Stock Honda headgasket
Toda B's w/ Toda Timing Belt

As long as the springs were installed to the proper height, you should be good to go. I *think* you might be a little higher then 12:1, dont feel like figuring it out. Should be golden though. w00t.
