B18A1 shutting off randomly while driving...bad ICM?
So every once in a while my car will just stall while driving, i still have power to everything just the engine dies. So far everytime it does this it will cut back on within 2-4 seconds and if i for some reason still have my foot on the gas (like when it cuts off then back on in 1-2 seconds) it will backfire a bit which to me points at lose of ignition. But itll only do it once every 2-4 days of driving so trying to test the coil and icm havent worked due to it normally only does this after i drive to the city which is about 50ish minutes away. Only after that (the long drive so far) is when itll do it once or twice. Any thoughts or ideas on the icm going out?
Edit: Normally itll only do it on the way there, normally when im close to the city. Then it gets to sit and cool off before the drive home which then it doesnt do it.

is your tach jumping around like crazy? if so icm is likely buying the farm. airtex makes a decent unit that wont break the bank.
