Default Mugen Wheel - Repainted

I curbed my Mugen wheel early this year and just had it repaired and painted. Unfortunately, I lost my "before" pictures. The wheel was damaged along the lip in three places. It had chunks of the lip taken out. Can't even tell where the repair was now..
Here's a pic:

I'll be getting the rest of the wheels repainted later this year or early next year

The wheel was stripped and repainted and I had a clearcoat put on so it'll be easy to clean now.. The original matte finish was a PITA to clean.

Yep.. The silver is the repaired one. The repairs and paint were 220.00 plus tax and shipping and tire disposal it cost $249. Half the cost of the wheel.

I figured if I was going to spend $550, might as well get the one I had repaired and paint the rest to a new color that most people don't have for their mugens.

Nope.. Those are pirelli p-zero's.. The compound hardened up after using them for a few months. They were nice and sticky when they were new though.

Just did a bathroom scale measurement, and the painted wheel weighed in at 14 lbs.
Did four readings:
1) Me = 143 lbs (That's with clothes on)
2) Me + wheel = 157 lbs
3) Just wheel = 14 lbs
4) Original wheel + tire = 30 lbs (tread at wearbars)

Tires are 205/45/16 Pirelli PZero's

Unfortunately, I won't be able to get a baseline reading of the original wheel since I don't have anything to remove the tire. So I can't verify the claimed 11 lb weight.

Do you think there could be an extra 3 lbs of paint on the repaired/repainted wheel? Or you think the extra poundage is coming from the metal they welded back on the wheel?

I dunno man, 3lbs is a lot of dry paint. Maybe you really have rotas? lol
