Default O2 sensor mod

has anyone seen the O2 sensor mod? The little 15 dollar peice you put on the O2 sensor in your intake and it makes your car think there's colder air thus giving more fuel and horsepower. Please tell me about this mysterios thing I came accross. thanx

i think for an O2 sensor to work right it has to be at or above a certain temp somewhere in the 80's i believe

but i dunno if that will work or not? do you have a link to it?

An O2 simulator. Same as those electric superchargers IMO.

Tfor the o2 sensor to work properly it must reach an operating temp of about 450, that is why the newer sensors have heaters in them. The o2 sensor does not measure the exhaust temp, it measures the amount of o2 left in the exhaust, and either richens or leans out the feul mixture. The coolent temp sensor is what measures the operating temp of the car,and then the computer either richens the mixture. Why don't you simply bypass the coolant lines going to the throttle body, therefore cooling the air.
