ECU Chipping & O2 sensors
Hey guys need some help,
just dropped my b16 into my civic and im using a Jasma 4-2-1 header. I know if i want the b16 to run right i have to have the 2 o2 sensors properly hooked up I.E. welding 2 bungs into the primarys of the header to get correct 02 readings.
I have read that you can get your ecu chipped so that it only needs\see's one 02 sensor.
my question is if i have the ecu chipped so that is dosen't see that secondary 02 sensor and i dont have the fuel map or anything else changed, will it run right ?
what i want to do is just have the computer chipped and run 1 o2 sensor from where the original bung is on the header (near the collector)
Will this fix my problem ? or will it still run to rich\lean ?
BTW, i have done a good amount of reasearch on this, so anybody telling my to use the search button will kindly be asked to tongue my right nut.
thanks,
Dan
