Was on my lunch break just made a right outta the pizza shop ... down about a block stop to make a left ..maybe 10 seconds later I hear the breaks for a second and then BOOM im knocked up outta my seat into the steering wheel... my car rolls forward down the street in first gear still running... my headunit is completely out of the dash laying on the shifter... I know my car just got murdered...I keep rolling down the street and finally hit the breaks... I pick up my phone call 911 and report it .. cop says the guy was completely at fault and that he would issue him a ticket but the guy appreared to have some kind of handicap and he was going to need to look into it further to see if the guy should even be on the road.. here are some pics.. had her for 8 years.. 1998 CGP GS-RL 218,463 on the dash , had every service record since day 1 ...

 

Sorry bout your loss I fear this similar situation every time I drive the teg. **** that happens that you have no control of. Car looked clean

damn man, that really hurts. I'm more of a 2nd gen fan but any time someone's pride and joy gets killed hurts.

Get the money from the insurance and then buy it back from them should be less than $500 in some cases, then strip it and sell off the parts and or swap them in a clean Type R shell or another GSR shell.
