You should be able to do 400whp just fine. Maybe not terribly efficiently but I'm sure it'll get there.

The spoolin log manifold is for the s2000 f motors, not the fwd f series.

You're going to find that virtually no companies support the fwd f22 series motors

26 letters in the alphabet, and Honda has to re-use B and F for motors that are not compatible with each other.

But that's why there are other letters in the engine category.

F20C -S2000

F22B - Accord

People are just lazy to not use the whole engine nomenclature in interweb world. Honda doesn't need to change anything with regards to that.

So you're telling me that the B18B and B18C are also entirely different, non-compatible motors?

I just think it's silly that they have the original B20A, which is not compatible with any other B series, and they have the S2000 F20, which is not compatible with any other F series. Also, if we're using the second letter to delineate what's compatible, why did they only do that with the F series, and not the D, B, K, H, F...also, while we're getting into all of that, what about the abortion of a motor that is the D17?

I just think it's funny that Honda couldn't pick a naming convention and stick to it.

Since we are doing call outs, how about the turd D16A1 and then the D16A6 or D16Z6 for that matter... Everything is different on the bastard D16A1, even the transmission bell housing bolt pattern. IIRC even the whole K20 is going to be reused for the new turbo engines. Yeah, they suck at naming things LOL!

doesn't the f22 accord motor use the same flange as the h22? Maybe I'm wrong, but I could have swore a local kid had an h22 Neukin ram horn on his f22 accord wagon. I also think the 4g63 manifolds line up pretty good too if I remember right. I think they just need a hole or two elongated.

Yep, the "G21/G22/G23" is an awesome motor. H22 head, F22 block. Whoops, there we go shitting on Honda's naming convention again.

not true.

The F22 motors don't use the same exhaust flange as the H22.

For example, I can't run an h22 turbo manifold on my F22A1, flange pattern is different

You can run a 4G63 turbo manifold (standard dsm or evo twin scroll) by slotting a few holes and such.

Ah, he said flange, and my brain thought deck/head. Disregard. Well, you can still mate an H head to an F block, but that's not what you were saying.

as a side note: the F22A does share both intake and exhaust manifold patterns with the H23A1
