Default z6/y8 combo dizzy help

Ok so I bought an eg with a z6 swap for dirt cheap and I want too swap it into my EF. I was looking at the motor and it's a z6 block with a p2j-5 00 head ( 2000 y8). The motor sounds like the timing is off and I noticed that the dizzy does not line up with all of the bolt holes and was only held in with one. I think its the z6 dizzy but do I need the y8. Also will the y8 dizzy match up with my EF mpfi harness if I used the obd1 plugs?

You can use almost any other dizzy from 92-95 except the d16z6 and d15z1

Sorry missed that it was ef, you can use pretty much any OBD1 or 2 distributor with an adapter harness except the z6 or z1. If your plug is already using obd1 use one from a 92-95 d15b7/8
