Default Risk of burn if draining ATF hot?

I'm about to do my first 3x drain and fill on a 2007 Accord EX-L I4 AT5. I've read it's best to drain when the engine is at operating temperature and the ATF is hot -- but isn't the ATF hot enough to burn skin if there's contact? I'm not sure how to get the bolt removed without making contact...

Thanks.

It will be fine, it's no hotter than engine oil. Done it many times; sure, it's hot but not scalding by any means.

If you are worried, wear rubber gloves. I have done it many times myself, the only concern you should have is an exhaust system burn. Be aware of that or get yourself some kevlar sleeves to protect your arms.

Before you drain drive the car around for 5-10 minutes after its cold. It will drain fine.
