Would 92 Prelude Si rims fit 96 Accord LX?
i did it b/c all the accord i saw with the eibach kits only lowered like 1.5" looked pretty cheesy to me, even with 18's. ive got tenzo springs. also, lower center of gravity=better handling. i want to get a more stock look, plus tires are cheaper for the 15's.
the only reason i ask is b/c they come with 225/50's. if i get the car aligned with the 225's, will i have to get it realigned if i get 205's?

It isnt incorrect. It is howevever heresay. Though the lower the car is, the lower the center of gravity is and thus less tendancy to roll under lateral load, the effects of this are virtually neglegable.
It is proper chasis setup which will ultimately lead to good handling. The proper combination of shocks and springs combined with a good mix of chasis bracing, wheel/tire package, anti-roll bars and bushings along with a good alignment and a good driver which will lead to crisp and precise handling.

i see i see. thank you for the explantion, very helpful. any info on a setup a combination as you suggested for something of the weekend warrior variety?
I assume its for a 96 Accord Lx.
How much are you willing to spend?
How much work are you willing to do?
Are you experienced at modifying your car?

you are correct in your assumption. i just unloaded my set of 18's b/c i was once young and stupid, but i have seen the light ie HT and have realized the show cars suck and that i want a sleeper, so im going with the prelude rims. im on a college budget, so i dont have a whole lot of money. as far as experience, im in the learning stages, and ive learned alot here. i dont really have the money to get into the motor too much right now, so im focusing on the suspension. ive got front and rear upper strut bars, tenzo springs and KYB GR-2 struts. the struts are on the way out, not sure which ones yet. i like the feel of the tenzo's, so i want to keep them. im thinking about a rear sway bar. if i get that, should i get a tie bar as well?

GR2's are garbage. Tenzo's arent all that much better.
Here is what I recommend:
-KYB AGX shocks
-Eibach Pro-kit or my Ground-Control coilovers that are for sale
-Suspension techniques REAR swaybar
-Preload your strut tower bars
-Kumho Ecsta Supra or Falken Azenis Sport tires (depending on what you want) in sizes 205/55-15 or 205/50-15 (depending on what gearing you want) on those Prelude wheels.
Do you plan to do any competing or is this just for the street?
Keep em coming.
i agree the GR2's are crap. i forgot to mention, ive got a Prothane busings kit as well. what kind of drop does the prokit have? what do you mean by preload the sturt bars? i was thinking about the AGX's. i also heard that coil overs aren't mush good, b/c if you raise it up, you need to get it alighned again. for the time being it will be on the street, but in the future i will prob be running it on the track. plan on building an H23 N/A to get about 200hp at the wheels. dont know if that changes anything.
how much for the ground controls. also I think that other thread got deleted, but I have my ex header just sitting in my garage, and i saw you needed one.
