Hey guys, I recently swapped a b18b into my 96 hatch but quickly noticed it was misfiring.. I have change plugs, plug wires, injectors, maf.. Not sure what else to change on it or how to fix this problem. The motor is obd1 with obd2 wiring spliced to work, obd2 dizzy with obd2 to obd1 jumper with I believe is a modded p06 ecu? Ide need to double check but would love some people opinions on what it could be because I am stumped.. I'm assuming wiring issue or dizzy.. Let me know guys thanks!

 

What was spliced.

 

Post the check engine light codes if you have any.

 

I didn't do the wiring a buddy did but I believe wiring to dizzy, injectors maybe, alt all that comes to mind right now, also I can't run a scanner

 

You don't have to use a scanner. Just use the jumper and read the blink codes.

 

You need to go back to your buddy and ask him to help you answer some questions.

theres countless threads on how to re-pin the harness. Hope your buddy knows what he was doing AND spliced with solder and heatshrink.
