Default Bee R Rev Limiter cuts engine off Help Please?

Hi All,

I have installed a Bee R rev limiter into my JDM DC1 D16ZC SOHC non vtec, it came out of a d15 ek so I know its the correct version for a Honda.

It has a P76 Two plug ECU (apparantly a rare setup)

I have spliced in between Pin A21 on the ECU

The idea is to cut the ignition control module at points set on the Bee R limiter. (yes to make make pops and flames just for fun here and there).

My problem is, the Bee R works, it will cut ignition at whatever rev range I set, however if I press the throttle pedal more than halfway, the car cuts out and throws a management light until I turn off the car and start it again.

I have read endless threads and posts about the Bee R rev limiter, I understand how it works and how it should be installed into most Honda's, but I cannot figure why on my specific car it causes the engine the cut out/off when I press the throttle all the way down?

I also cannot find much info about my distributor, it has one black plug, plugged directly into the distributor with horizontal pins all in a line which has the yellow/green wire going into it from the ECU.

What is so different on my setup causing the engine to cut out?

Any help will be appreciated

Thank You.
