Default Rims for Del Sol, without wasting too much on gas...

Just got a paint job but i still have hub caps on my del sol. I heard that aluminum rims might be lighter. I can go between $250 to maybe $450. I dont want the expensive ones. Theres alloy, steel, plastic hub caps, what else?

Is there any that wont take a huge toll on the gas? Mature responses only. Tired of 12 year old troll responses.

You get bad responses because you ask bad questions in bad parts of the forum. At least you're 50% on this one, instead of your 100% failed last post.

Lighter, smaller, better. We aren't going to do your shopping for you, but in general, look for a 15x6.5 or 15x7 alloy wheel.

Keep the steelies and get newer caps from another OEM honda. the 99-00 civic hubbies dont look too bad.

The better question would be, what do the stock 13" steelies weigh?

With that information you can go shopping and know how comparable what you are looking at is to stock wheels.

Look for VX or HX rims if you want to stay Honda. I've heard a certain Miata alloy is roughly the same in terms of weight too.

My current rims (Black Racing BR8, 14x6) weigh in a tad over 11lbs each and yielded 5mpg gain over all just to give you an idea what to expect over steelies.
