Default H series noob needs community help!

Hello, I am new to the H series motors. ive always been a b series guy. but I got bored of it and now am in the h series. I have a 94 Honda prelude si with the stock motor w/ MT, motor seized on me like two weeks ago, I have a h23a blue top sir motor coming in the mail. I would like to know if there is any special wiring I need to do for the obd2 h23a blue top to fit my old harness? also, I am going to be going with a p28 and have it chipped. am I going to need a jumper harness sense the motor is obd2? or am I going to have to just the obd1 dizzy from my h23a1 motor? if anyone can help with some straight forward information id greatly appreciate it it!

Just stay obd1 and make it easier on you that way. You will need your fuel rail with injectors and resistor box, unless you want to use the h23a vtec injectors, then you will need to cut and splice into your engine harness or use Rywire obd1 to obd2 injector adapters, they are $60 for those and require no cutting or splicing of wires as they are direct plug-n-play. Also change over the alternator and distributor, plus your power steering pump, driver side motor mount as well as your rear motor mount. No you don't need a jumper harness since your harness is already obd1. Last but not least wire in Vtec in your engine harness so it will engage and basically you are done.
