1992 Honda Accord DX MT Won't Start
For quite a while my ignition key was a little sticky turning forward, it became a bit worse about a month ago. Then about two weeks ago, when I got in to start, it was like I had battery disconnected, no dash lights no starter engaged or engine turning, this only lasted about two minutes. Power jumped on and started no problem. Since it happened once until yesterday same symptoms, but this time the condition remains same. Intermittently I have dash lights, then as if I have a draw down. I replaced the ignition switch w/harness. I removed the starter and had it tested, failed, Bendix not turning, locked up( I was convinced this was the problem, rubber boots were dry rot and it was a re-manufactured starter about 5 years old). Replaced starter, still no start condition; however it did start when I jumped it. Battery showing 14.56 volts with car running. When I turn the key I do hear noises similar to if I had dead battery coming from under the dash. I read several threads about the starter cut relay; however it's still unclear exactly where it's located for this make and model! I'm LOST STUCK........
