So I bought a 93 coupe and it came with 2 keys. One for the doors, one for the ignition.

Out of curiosity I had a key made with my vin at honda to find out where it fit. Neither. It does fit the trunk though.

So what I would like is to get down to one key, preferably the original. Is there a way to get my doors and ignition to match?

call up a locksmith and have everything made to fit the same key

 

I would go straight to a Honda parts counter, don't call, with your title in hand and tell them you need a tumbler for both doors and ignition lock.

 

Will this kill my wallet?
