keep blowing radiator hoses
I been threw 3 hoses in the last month
Once on the bottom twice on the top
Also when i take the rad cap off it has mad pressure sometimes will shoot up if i dont grip it hard enough
I bleed the system dident work
I dont have coolant in oil or anywhere under the valve cover checked today which makes it a lil hard to tell if its a head issue
I did the head 2 summers ago thinking its about time to do it again
What do you honda heads think?

Yes sir....it would take more than 16-20psi to blow a hose....
I have seen head gasket leaks that only show up once the engine is warm/hot and sometimes only under load. You may want to try a warm engine coolant pressure test.
If you don't have access to compression testing kit or a coolant system pressure tester you could try this;
• Remove your radiator cap
• Start engine and let it idle
• watch for air bubbles at the opening
• Once the engine is up to operating temperature blip the throttle a few times and see if there are any bubbles then.
Blown head gaskets don't always leak oil or coolant..... there is the possibility that it is only exhaust gases that are getting buy into the coolant.

Thanks for all the replies
I got around to compression testing it today and
All cylinders were at 160
I thought i had spotten a lil coolant under the cap
Another tear down of this engine real soon
Which head gasket should i go with

The head gasket is a multi layer gasket. Sometimes only 1 layer will fail, and the only thing that has enough pressure to leak is combustion gas. Looks like another head job. I would go with a Honda gasket.
An easy, fool proof test, let the car sit over night(or several hours) then start the car up and let it run and get out immediately and feel the rad hoses. They should be easy to squeeze and should have NO pressure in them.

Nope cheap autozone gasket and redlined the engine a while back then it started having pressure problems
I got it resurfaced last time
Imma start tearing it down tomarrow how exciting

I would not use the same gasket again. If you arent going to use a Honda gasket, atleast pony up the dough for a high quality aftermarket gasket. With the multi layer gaskets, quality is of high importance.
