Ohlins suspension
Looking to get more info on these coilovers. Only thing I can see on the swift springs is "120" and "050" which looks like 672lbs front, and 280lbs rear or 12k, 5k.
Wondering if anyone has used this older coilover setup on the street, and if these spring rates are too unmatched.
The height adjustment isn't the typical collar adjustment on the bottom of the coilover that you spin up and down. Looks like the whole thing spins to adjust height?

user DC2 Productions runs a set of Ohlins. Perhaps he'll chime in. They are typically focused on gymkhana(auto-x) as every set I've seen seems to have a stiff front spring with a softer rear spring.

These are my babies... This is the DFV setup. Im currently running 1100 front and 400 rear. (Setup it came with)
Hoesntly... I havent even touched it. Not even the **** adjustments up top... All i can say is its planted. It has NO shake or roll, bumps are taken with ease, and transitioning from hard left to hard right doesnt even flinch.
I plan on messing with the adjustments this summer when I have time to really push the limits of each setting and feel the differences.
Height adjustment on mine is a bit tricky to dial in... I wasnt low enough and had to switch my front springs from 8" to 6" and re-adjust the threads. Bottomed out the post in the casing before I was at desired height. All good now and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Is your car a street car, or is it for the track? I'll be using them for 90% street.

I have only driven this car on the street. Barely a weekend car. But the way the suspension feels, I would have no problem with that for consistent or daily use.
"97CWITR",
I have what you listed above and I just put them on a week ago. No track time yet as I'm kinda taking a break from tracking for this year because of family commitment. These older Ohlin coil overs are 16 ways adjustable and don't provide much high adjustment. So, with my R weight deduction, I have to add another helper spring to each of the corner to get the right high that I want. If you want, I'll try to get some pics. anyway, on the street with the front dialed to 11 "clicks" and the the rear dialed to 6 "clicks", it is quite a bit comfortable. the rebound rate is just about right for most local roads around here. If I track it at the end of this season, I'll probably set the front to 14 "clicks" and the rear to 12 "clicks" to help the caR rotate.
I know these are oldies. But, they are very well built and are much better than most of today's aftermarket suspension. Hope you enjoy yours.
