Just changed flywheel and clutch - vibrating clutch pedal when depressed
I have a 95 Civic DX with D15B7 motor and 5 speed tranny. Just replaced the flywheel with ACT 600120 forged flywheel and Exedy OEM clutch. Bled the clutch line too. That was less than two months ago. I've noticed recently that when I press clutch pedal, I feel a slight shudder/vibration/pausing - kind of like bubbles popping under my foot. It gets worse on hot days. Gears go in fine and do not slip. Only feel it when I am pressing the clutch pedal down and letting it back up. And it's only on the clutch pedal, rest of car is okay. Any input is appreciated.
Maybe you should drop the transmission to inspect the clutch and flywheel. The pedal vibration may indicate that something is loose, warped, or out of balance.
