Default H23 Vtec Swap Questions

Hey. I'm new here but I'm planning on a H23 Vtec (blue top) swap. I have the engine and some other parts, but one thing I'm trying to find out is what header setup I will need to get for this without having to change my downpipe because I did a collector mod on it and would like to keep it that way. I just want to make the header (top part) fit with my downpipe flange if that's possible. They said that the flange part at the top header part is larger and won't fit the stock downpipe; but I'm wondering if 92-96 ebay headers (top part) are different and will fit.

Does anyone follow what I mean and know the answer? I searched for over an hour trying to find the answer.

Thanks.

EDIT:

This is what I mean..
forgive the crude drawings. This is a regular 92-96 H22 header from ebay.

Found out that you can use the F22a downpipe, but it will cause a lot of stress on your flexpipe and also if its lowered, there will be almost zero clearance.
This is because the downpipe on the f22a is taller than the h22.

I decided I was just gonna do something different and get this 4-1 setup.

Got a question. Is this slip fit kind of setup reliable or is it prone to leak ? I've seen bisi's leak like crazy before and I don't want that.

My buddy has a PLM header in his 4g H23V Prelude. It's slip fit and it leaks quite a bit. I'm sure that eBay header will leak.

Well I know the bisi header is notorious for leaks... this one however is just a single slip fit joint, not four like the bisi header is. I wonder if they made this so that it doesn't leak. If they do, i'm gonna bitch like crazy at the company who sold it to me. They said they had no warranty on it, but that if some issues arise after 60 days I can get a refund, partial refund, or return.

This seems to have a different design than bisi anyways, it uses actual bolts to hold it together, not springs. Does your friends use springs or does it use bolts... or does it use nothing?

Short primaries into a 4-1 collector...... no thanks, that thing will kill torque. Will be fun in the last 2000rpm, but that's it. Just get one of the 4-2-1 H22 headers made byPLM and be done with it. The cheap headers are garbage.
