Default D16Z6 - Is my head still good?

there are two civic's my brothers and girlfriends that Both have HG's going out.(both z6 5speed basically stock)
both have had the same symptoms for about 3 months
NEITHER HAS HEATED UP TO THE POINT OF THE TEMP GAUGE BEING BEING MAXED OUT.

both just build pressure in the radiatior and will start to heat up if idleing at a stop light for over 2 mins or so

i basacally just want to know opnions if my head and block are warped?
-neither smokes
-neither leaks
-they just use some coolant

they both still drive fine and neither has heated up all the way tothe best of my knowledge i just dont want to be doing a HG and find a warped head with no spare on hand.

Heat naturally builds pressure. Have you verified that the fan is turning on when it starts to get hot?

When you pull the head, send it to a cylinder head shop.
They will check it for being straight, having cracks, etc.
This is a much better path than asking forum members who are not there.

This^

Nothing posted makes a compelling diagnosis for a blown head gasket for either Civic. At this point, other cooling system problems are possible.

You should have the cars looked over by a trusted mechanic.

To throw parts at your problem starting from cheapest and most likely problems:
Thermostat
Heater hoses swelling or leaking
System pressure changed with the weather pushing more coolant out, needs to be refilled and burped

Compression test
Cooling system pressure test
Block test

Head Removal
Sent to machine shop for resurfacing

With the engine warmed up and at idle can you see a stream of bubbles in the coolant overflow reservoir? If you hold the upper radiator hose with the engine idling and squeeze the hose does the hose feel hard and pressurized?
These are signs of a head gasket problem or a crack in the head or block.

Another simple problem is defective radiator caps that lose pressure/steam and lose coolant slowly.

Radiators could be bad too. Cooling fins detach from the radiator cores and quit conducting the heat from the coolant.
