Default Oside-Bosch Injectors 1st test

I finally got my 1st fill-up to fill-up test with my new injectors. ...got them from Oside Tiger. I got the 280cc Bosch, 4 hole set.

My 1st test was only 107 miles, but mixed with a bit of city...mostly 70 to 75 and a couple hard accelerations. Well, 3/4 throttle to 5500 rpms, and the AC on and off.

It all added up to 38.76 miles per gallon. Much higher then I've seen before, and I log every gas stop.

Typically I've been consistent at 80mph, getting about 29.5mpg (IH-10 in Texas). The rest the time is varies a lot, but not bad. I realize 107 miles isn't much of a test, but it's very impressive none the less.

The best I'd seen before was 34.5mpg at 75.

Oside's kit was easy to install and came with everything needed. It was no problem, my first time doing anything with injectors. These injectors are high impedance, so my obd-0 Integra required a resistor delete plug too. It all went well. The only difficult part was undoing the clips on the old injectors....finding out how they came apart, beforehand.

I'm leaving shortly on a trip, so I'll have a very acurate mpg evaluation.

Did you tune the car, thinking of doing this to my 89 civic si?

Overall the mileage didn't change, after further testing....there are so many factors involved. My car is a bit out of tune, timing wise, but it's just on my long list of things to do. I'm replacing a lot of the suspension at the moment.

They're good injectors. I can't complain, good price.
