Hey guys hoping someone could shed some light on my situation, So I park my car last week everything was working fine, and when I say fine I mean like to a T, no signs of any issues what soever, Sooooo I let it sit for a couple days go to fire it up boom nothing, When I turn the key my starter doesn't click, I can start it but I have to jump it from the starter to the battery, I can bump start it also, however in both cases when I take my foot off the clutch my car dies.... The car did come with an alarm system although its never worked, and with that said its never given me any problems before. Note : I did check that little piece on the back of the clutch arm no signs of wear or tear.
No it's the definatly the right one, that diagram helped alot, Ill take a picture when I go back at it, Im thinking it it has something to do with that little pin that touches the stopper tho
The 2P starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal. It presses on the rubber stopper.
If you don't think the switch button presses in enough with the pedal depressed, then manually press it in with your finger or something, and then check whether the starter cranks.
Ok so I tested that switch and it's good, so now I'm leaning towards the alarm system I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the command start? I took off that panel underneath the dash
and it looks like whoever did the install did a pretty hack job
Well thanks for the suggestions and help ( no sarcasm), it ended up being some faulty wiring with the command start / alarm system,I just ganked all that **** outa their and reverted it to stock and now everything works perfect
