EM2 vs RSX oem shifter difference?

I was wondering if the RSX or RSX type s stock shifters have benifits over the stock em2 ones? Shorter shift, ect?

If you want reduced throw, buy a short shifter. (or a kit)

Revo SS is only $100 shipped, and is a simple bolt-in mod. Should take no more than an hour.
