Default help, 2000 gsr lurching problem

So this past week I took my car to the shop to get the head rebuilt. I bent some valves witch caused a misfire. I took it in and had the head rebuilt and machined, and while they were rebuilding the head I had a new timing belt, tensioner and water pump installed. But now when I an diving and let of the throttle the car starts lurching and jerking really bad the mechanic said he set the timing at 16 degrees before TDC but it still feels like it's missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How does it drive and idle? does it do this only when decelerating? Have you checked your timing belt to see if it skipped a tooth? might be a map sensor issue.
