while driving yesterday my traction control light and then the malfunction light came on when I got home I shut the van off and started it again and the tcs light was off but when I revved the engine a little it came back on any ideas?

i did it was a lill low but not much. i will check again

 

i brought the oil level up. disconected the battery to reset and when i started driving both lights came back on again

 

ok well if you have access and knowledge of how to use a mulitmeter you can test for continuity across the vtec switch. if you cant, you are probably looking at either being a vtec pressure switch or the valve itself. its located right above the oil filter. if you go the switch route, grab a vtec filter gasket also, not sure if a clogged one will cause this code or not. but for a few extra dollars it cant hurt to try.

Multimeter? Or parts for the car? Any hardware store sells multimeterd or pepboys, advanced auto, Bennet etc.
