Default ABS/VSA light on after new OEM Honda abs sensors+pads

05 TSX auto

I did my ball joints and brake pads ALL OEM Honda in the process I replaced my ABS sensors with OEM Honda ones. I put them in admittedly backwards but the sensor can only go in one way... would that cause it to read wrong?. I had the old sensors removed and the holes cleaned up at a shop the new sensors went in just fine.

Swapped them to their correct sides inspected the sensors both are fine, cleaned them with "ABS safe" cleaner and sprayed out the holes just to be safe. Un hooked the battery for a few mins the light still is on, at first the light wasn't on even when I had them incorrectly in. Checked the VSA fuse it's fine saw nothing in the under the dash section for ABS or vsa, I have a scanner can I just use it the same way to see ABS codes?.

if your scanner is capable of reading abs codes. not going to be easy to troubleshoot without having a code.
