P.S. To make it a worth while drive for everyone, there will be a prize for the fastest ITR at the event... classification doesn't matter! (maybe $20 gas money, JDM ITR shiftboot, I dunno yet )

Everyone is welcomed at SOLO II event... as it's a valuable training ground for any driver and keep racing off the streets.

Prize is limited to the fastest <u>ITR</u> driver only. Sorry, gotta draw the line somewhere.

Will definitely be running. Hope I get my suspension the way I want it by then...

 

Is this a street tire event or can you run autocross tires? What all do you have to bring? Ex. helmet, can't think of anything else.

 

You can run either DOT approved street tires or AutoX slicks. IMO, everyone should be running within ~1 second of each other amongst all ITR owners. If you want to run slicks, more power to you. Most of us will be in street tires.

What to bring:
1. Helmet (if you have one.. otherwise, they have loaner helmets)
2. Portable Air compressor
3. Tire pressure gauge
4. Chalk for tires
5. Water & Food
6. Warm jacket or dress accordingly
7. Check your car thorougly before coming to autoX.

What not to bring:
1. Loose items in the car
2. Subs/Boxes

I'll be there. I think you should have the pot for all honda-tech members and use pax results to decide the winner. You could have like 1st,2nd,and 3rd since we'd probably be able to get more people to enter the friendly challenge. If not thats alright, just trying to think of someway to let everyone in on the fun. And the fact that i'm poor right now and want a chance to win something.

Ryan - the only thing about having it open to all Honda's is that some PAX indices are not setup fairly. I think there are too many variable when you factor in every make of Honda and open to all tires and equipment, etc. However, what could might do it:

1. Fastest Honda-Tech member raw time.
2. Fastest ITR member raw time.

However, there are some really gutted Civic's and CRX's from H-T that are in our region who would pretty much take fun out of it (w/o Pax results).

Maybe for next year, we could have it setup better. But, for the 17th, it's coming up fast and I don't have resources and time to make something for everyone. If you want to be in charge of the other Honda's for the 17th event, please do. But, I think I can only do so much...

Well, I have no plans to ever autox it again, so you'll have to live with being an ITR owner who can't beat it actually you have a better, whiter R now so...

if it were local, I'd consider it.
